We are a growing company, and our success comes from thinking creatively about our markets and actively responding to the needs of our customers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aims &amp; Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>European Journal of Neurodegenerative Diseases (EJND)\u00a0<\/em>is an international peer-reviewed Open Access clinical and research journal published online every four months.<\/p>\n<p><em>EJND<\/em>\u00a0covers a broad range of topics and publishes Original Articles, Reviews, Mini-Reviews, Brief Reports, Case Reports, and Letters focusing on morphological, ultrastructural, physiological, pathophysiological, molecular, biochemical, bioenergetics, pharmacological, therapeutic, and regulatory aspects of neurodegenerative diseases and craniofacial research and clinical application.<\/p>\n<p><em>European Journal of Neurodegenerative Diseases (EJND)\u00a0<\/em>is currently indexed in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elsevier.support\/embase\/answer\/where-can-i-find-a-complete-list-of-the-journals-in-embase\">Elsevier Embase<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.biolife-publisher.it\/ejnd\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/COVER-EJND-2026-724x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"636\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>European Journal of Neurodegenerative Diseases<\/em>&#8216; Open Access Initiative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advent of online publication has greatly improved access to scientific content on a global scale. This has led to calls from the academic community for research publications to be made freely available online and immediately upon publication, without the barrier of paid subscription to access.<\/p>\n<p>In response to these calls and following consultation with journal contributors, the Editors of <em>EJND<\/em> launched an Open Access initiative in 2022. This means manuscripts submitted and accepted after peer review will be published in <em>EJND<\/em> with open access under the <a href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by\/4.0\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CC BY 4.0 license<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Copyright\/Open Access<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Published under the subscription model and open access options<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In most instances, <em>EJND<\/em> makes its content freely viewable and searchable. <em>EJND<\/em> grants any third party the right to use most articles freely, as long as its integrity is maintained and its original author, citation details and journal are identified. However, some articles may require permission to be re-used, as determined on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Published under an Open Access Creative Commons licence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Manuscripts submitted and accepted after peer review will be published in <em>EJND<\/em> with open access under the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by\/4.0\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CC BY 4.0 license<\/a>. <em>EJND<\/em> is not authorized to grant permission for material published under a CC BY license, as the authors retain the copyright.
